Halloween is my favorite holiday and I consider myself a Halloween decor connoisseur. If I had it my way, Halloween decorations would go up in September! During the recession there wasn’t a lot happening in terms of new things on the market, but this year it’s a different story. One whimsical thing that surprised me is not just one skeleton doing yoga, but a whole bunch of skeleton yogis from various retailers.
Silly? Yes. Fun as hell? Definitely!
I first noticed the skeleton yogi trend from Grandin Road. Unfortunately, this $49 set of 4.5 to 6.5-inch figures aren’t available anymore. It sold out before I got a set, so I feel your pain. But don’t worry, I found a bunch more.
PierOne offers this 13-inch yogi statue for $29.95, which is bigger than any of the other skeleton yogis I found. So what it lacks in poses, it makes up for in size.
Amazon offers several options, including this set of three yogis by Ganz. They’re a bit on the spendy side, compared to other offerings. These 4-inch figures are sold individually for $13.95-15.95 or as a set for $53.95.
This Spooky Bendy Skelly set is basically where I sit on the Venn diagram of Halloween and whimsy. The $25 set on Amazon includes all six posable 5-inch figures and they’re tiny yoga mats. There are other sets available, too.
So don’t be afraid to add a touch of whimsy to your Halloween decorating plans. And check back soon for my big Halloween decor post!
As always, these are my personal recommendations. Nothing in this post has been paid for or sponsored.
